Seriously! Carolyn has the most amazing soprano voice and is an opera singer in real life.

I tried to convince her to sing at her wedding, but I get it. Who wants to work when on vacation. I was happy to settle for a private serenade.

Sand Dollar Estate

For the perfect destination wedding, Carolyn, Codie brought their closest family and friends to the amazing Sand Dollar Estate located in the exclusive Peterborg neighborhood on the north side of St. Thomas.

This house is amazing and also features a private beach which is a perfect spot for a beach ceremony.

In addition to the private beach, the house has plenty of space to host dinner and dancing on the generous balcony space.

The Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony was held on the private beach on which Villa Sand Dollar is located, which overlooks Magens Bay.

After a gorgeous beach ceremony, performed by wedding officiant – Island Mike, dinner and dancing was held on the upstairs balcony.

Wedding party toasts the happy couple at destination wedding.

While this was a beach wedding, it wasn’t a beach themed wedding. I especially love the mix of styles – wood tables, combined with sequin linens, bright flowers and lots of gold accents. As a nod to both the setting and villa, we incorporated sand dollars by using them as place cards in the table setting.
