Kayla and Matthew had their closest friends and family join them on this vacation of a lifetime. Since there were children with them, they decided to make a day of it at the beach.
Kayla’s wedding color was purple (and of course white). The ceremony was held at the water’s edge under a fabric draped bamboo arch with a driftwood and orchid lined aisle. Afterwards, I set up a beach reception with boxed lunches and beach toys and fun was had by all.
Kayla’s carried beautiful Picasso Calla Lilies in her bouquet, as did her bridesmaids. Her cake was decorated with delicate fresh dendrobium orchids and rested atop Octavius, my favorite tentacled octopus cake stand. She chose a vanilla cake with mango cloud filling and vanilla meringue frosting. Her centerpieces featured purple spider mums and carnations and were the perfect pop of color atop her beach reception tables.
The handsome ring bearer carried the rings on an over-sized scallop shell
Thank you to 22 Magnolias Productions for these gorgeous photographs of their wedding day.
