St. Thomas Wedding Package:
Planning a wedding in St. Thomas with Blue Sky Ceremony is simple. Whether you want an intimate or an extravagant event, your day will be worry free. We provide personalized attention to design and coordinate every detail of your wedding.
Out of the box, a Blue Sky Ceremony everything to get you married including the officiant to perform your customized ceremony, wedding coordination for the ceremony, and the filing of the legal paperwork including the filing fees. The bells and whistles and other services are sold a la carte.
Legal Documents & Courthouse:
If you are arriving in St. Thomas via cruise-ship, or staying at a local hotel or villa, we will pick you up at the dock, hotel, or villa in our adventure-mobile and take you to the local superior court to pick up the legal paperwork on your wedding day. If you are on island prior to your wedding day, you can go to the courthouse to pick up your documents in advance.
While this is a pretty laid back island, the courthouse requires appropriate dress. No bathing suits or flip flops! You can change later if you are having a swim trunk wedding. A government issued photo ID is required. Hopefully we will get in and out of the courthouse in 30 minutes or less. From there it is off to the wedding site. Most sites are only 15-30 minutes from the courthouse.
After the ceremony, we will take the signed certificate back to the courthouse and complete the filing process. Four certified copies of your marriage license will be mailed to you within 2 weeks. Meanwhile, you will be free to start your honeymoon.
Reservation & Payment Schedule:
To reserve your date, we require a $200 non-refundable deposit. Depending on the wedding package that you choose, payment schedules vary, however, in general, 50% of your final balance should be paid 2 months before you wedding day. 80% of your balance is due 1 month before you wedding day and the remaining balance can be paid using cash or travelers check on your wedding day. We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash.
If you cancel 30 days prior to the wedding – payments will be refunded with the exception of the initial $200 charge and any non-recoverable fees paid to private contractors and vendors.
If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the wedding – all efforts will be made to refund any payments with the exception of the initial $200, however, no guarantees can be made.
We cannot control the weather, but since we are called “Blue Sky Ceremony,” if it rain threatens your wedding, we will do everything to make sure that your day is magical, even if it doesn’t go according the schedule. And as they say in the islands…
“Rain don’t stop the carnival.”
